Since I was a young girl, I always had an interest in baking. When I graduated from High School, I obtained a job at a local grocery store in the bakery department, and quickly became fascinated in my job. I moved up to the Bakery Manager and cake decorator within a couple of months, and then decided it was time to make this a career. I attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena, Ca, and graduated with my degree in Patisserie and Baking.

 

     After a few years,  I switched jobs, managing and decorating wherever I went. I have now decided to take a leap in faith and start my own business from home, Shea's Cakes! Orders are flying in and I could not be happier with my choice. I now have a sweet baby boy that I get to raise at home, while building my clientele.
